Designing for the hand
A square format changes how a spread breathes. The grid gives each story room for one large image and a short passage, with generous margins that make the book feel slow on purpose.
Type at book scale
Body text was tested in print at several sizes before settling on a size that reads comfortably at arm’s length. Captions sit in a small mono face to separate fact from story.
